At the recent Annual Parish Meeting, Telford & Wrekin Council gave a presentation on Highways and Civil Parking Enforcement.

The Highways team also mentioned the forthcoming works programme across The Gorge that they’re undertaking.

In support of their Pride in Your Community programme, Telford & Wrekin Council will be investing an additional £45m, over the next three years, into improving the Borough’s roads, pavements, street lights and highway structures.

The programme of works covering the full three years is currently being developed using information already shared by local ward members, Nicola Lowery, Raj Mehta and Jayne Greenaway, as well as The Gorge Parish Council and local residents. Telford & Wrekin Council will continue to revise the programme based on feedback they receive over the coming months.

The list of schemes in The Gorge is shown in the table below and you can find the full highways and transport programme here.
